Second is proud to host FIN’s main office and resources in our church building. Its goal is to give teenagers an opportunity to experience positive life outcomes through Christian based values and to nurture their faith within a multi-cultural peer group around their school, community and in the world.įaith Inclusion Network: Faith Inclusion Network’s mission is to promote awareness of and provide support for the inclusion of people with disabilities and their families into faith communities. Youth Outreach Urban Resources & Services (YOURS) is a faith based urban leadership development and outreach program for at-risk middle and high school teenagers. With the STEAM initiative, there will be more opportunities for both volunteer and financial support from our congregation. ForKids will be turning STEM into STEAM for children of both the families it is fostering out of homelessness, as well as other children at risk. In 2020, ForKids received assets from Park Place Child Life Center toward the end of adding arts education to its ongoing science, technology, engineering and math enrichment program both afterschool and on weekends. They assist about 150 families weekly through emergency shelters, transitional housing, permanent supportive housing, and in-home care management. ForKids’ mission is to break the cycle of poverty and homelessness for families and children.
